Duea Motor Company was established November 6, 1952.
The dealership was purchased by Mr. & Mrs. O.J. Duea from Roy F. and Burdette Raub and originally named Duea Chevrolet Company selling only Chevrolet vehicles.
Oldsmobile was added in 1957 with Buick and Pontiac joining the operation in 1980. The dealership was later named Duea Motor Company.
Edward M. Duea joined his father O.J., in June 1954 and was the dealer from 1964-1989. His son, Michael E. Duea, joined the operation following completion of an Automotive Marketing degree at Northwood University in May, 1975. He became the dealer in 1986 and he currently holds that position.
